British Columbia

Navigation: Victoria | Vancouver

I spent July of 2023 in Bellingham, Washington- a small harbor town near the Canadian border. It served as my home base for several visits to BC. It was just an hour + the border wait to drive into Vancouver, and the Tsawwassen ferry brought me over to Vancouver Island for a weekend exploring Victoria as well.

I’ve had Victoria & Vancouver in my sights for a long time, so this part of my travel allowed me to make some welcome progress on my very long to-visit list.

While this part of Canada is probably more well-known for activities like skiing, snowboarding, and mountaineering- coming back during the winter remains on my list- there is plenty to do in the city as well. Vancouver is enormous, and Victoria is full of history and character. These are some of my favorite shots taken in and around the two cities.
