I return to San Francisco as regularly as possible. Occasionally when work brings me to the Bay Area, but on my own as well when I’m trekking up and down the West Coast.

San Francisco & Oakland Cityscapes
I haven’t been able to stop talking about the light I had on this trip since I got back to the East Coast at the end of September. I’m so used to fog and mist in San Francisco, that having light like this left me speechless. This was my fourth visit to San Francisco, and my third in 2023. It came as a bit of a surprise- a last-minute work trip, but I am so glad I made it out one more time.
I included Oakland in this gallery as well since there were a few photos from my first few days spent across the bay. I surprised myself a bit and snagged a couple of my favorite shots from this trip before I even got to San Francisco itself.

San Francisco Street Photography
A quick trip to San Francisco for work in the spring. Conditions were largely foggy and cool, but I lucked into a couple of sunny days as well. I spent a lot of time at the Presidio shooting the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the Embarcadero, and even caught the ferry to Alcatraz. I remember this visit as my ‘touristy’ visit- finally checking off a few of the places that I hadn’t had time to explore until having the chance to really spend a few days rather than simply passing through.
